An important part of our mission is to provide Taylor owners with all the guitar resources you need to get the most out of your guitar. With the proper guitar care, your instrument can last a lifetime, or even generations. We are here to support you with the tools you need long after your initial purchase.
One of the key guitar resources available to you as an owner, and one we are very proud of, is our Wood&Steel magazine. Since its summer 1994 debut, our quarterly “owner’s newsletter” has evolved from its grassroots beginnings into a robust publication that covers all things Taylor. From stories about sourcing wood to guitar care tips to Q&A’s with Bob, we strive to share our passion for making and playing great guitars and to chronicle yours. Wood&Steel is direct-mailed (free of charge) only to Taylor owners in the U.S. and Canada, all you have to do is register your guitar.
We have a deep archive of guitar resources throughout our website. Our support page has a knowledge base full of articles about guitar maintenance, guitar repair, and what to do in case of just about any guitar emergency. Remember, our support team is also available by phone as well as email and chat. You can also find articles about acoustic guitar care and many other topics on the Taylor Guitars blog. We also have years of video content we’ve produced as another great guitar resource you can dive into to find the information you need and to discover even more.
We have guitar resources & guides about everything. How Taylor guitars are made, how to change strings like a pro, how to manage humidity, how to amplify your acoustic guitar, and much more. We create new content all the time, so our library of expert guitar resources is constantly growing and being updated. We’re so glad you’re a Taylor owner. We look forward to supporting you and your guitar for years to come.
