Boasting a new body design, new neck joint, new bracing, and a new aesthetic. Taylor's Gold Label Collection reveals a stunning old-heritage sound that's unlike anything Taylor has ever produced.
Classic Tone Meets Performance-Enhancing Innovation
A new body shape, bracing design and neck joint add up to a powerful, deep, open sound, blending inspiration from vintage acoustic guitars with signature Taylor innovation.
The new Super Auditorium body shape, a long-tenon neck joint, fanned V-Class bracing and top-tier tonewoods add up to exceptional power and depth with the unmatched volume, sustain and pitch accuracy you’d expect from a modern Taylor guitar.
The Gold Label Collection draws inspiration from flattop acoustic guitars from the 1930s and ’40s, whose warm, woody sound and open, sweet character came to define generations of music.
A New Recipe for an Old Voice
These guitars generate a lush, warm sound that will remind players of the heritage instruments that first made acoustic guitars popular among music lovers. Built on our V-Class foundation, the new sound is a result of three design elements.
Similar to our Grand Auditorium, the new body is slightly longer with a wider lower bout, yielding improved low-end presence.
A fan-like arrangement of braces attached with traditional hide glue produces more midrange richness and power.
nhanced wood coupling translates into greater low-end resonance with a glueless configuration that offers easy, precise adjustability.
