I am trying to confirm/source the strings for a new 552ce that I have on order. Taylor’s specifications note D’Addario XS coated phosphor bronze light (.012 - 0.053) Unfortunately I can’t find these in a 12-string set?
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. That info is not correct. We use D'Addario XS 12 string light 10-47
Width at the nut on 12 strings.?String spacing at body on 12 fret?
The nut width is 1 7/8". String spacing at the saddle is 2 3/8"

My recent purchase of a Taylor 552ce 12 string guitar
Usually, Taylor guitars are too bright to my ear, especially the 12 strings, but I took a chance and just bought this 552ce 12 string guitar, made in 2023 in mint condition online, and I have to say, the workmanship is impeccable, it has excellent intonation and stays in tune! I used to play jumbo and dreadnought 12 strings, and I sure do appreciate this smaller body guitar. For its size, it has a huge sound! I do prefer a non-torrified spruce top because torrified tops sound a little harsh to me, but despite this, I really do like this guitar. I love the size of it. It's not as bright as I had expected, and it has so much sustain. For some reason, the neck of the guitar seems wider than 2 7/8 inches, and it's a little more difficult for me to play. But I still think I may have made the right decision.
