TAYLOR TAG TEAM
Recently, my girlfriend and I were fortunate enough to attend a benefit concert called "Old Friends" at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. The
concert featured Guy Clark, Vince Gill, Nanci Griffth, Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell in an acoustic guitar "tag team" event, as Clark
described it. Taylor was well-represented, with Vince Gill playing a 912-C and Nanci playing her blue custom
614-CE, as I recall. The show was unforgettable and the Taylors sounded great. I have a
K-22-C, an 810, a 312-CE and a
Baby-M, so I always keep an eye out for Taylor guitars.
Your new web site is great and I continue enjoy Wood&Steel. Keep up the good work.

WHAT DREAMS MAY STRUM
I started playing the guitar over 30 years ago. Since then, I've had several guitars, but I could never afford that "dream guitar" I
always wanted. About a year ago, after not playing much in the last 10 years, I resurrected this old guitar hobby of mine.
I finally had the money to splurge on a great guitar. I went to our local guitar dealer, intending to buy that "dream guitar",
which was supposed to be a [different brand] guitar. At the time, I had not heard of Taylor, but the salesman suggested
I try the Taylors and make a comparison to the [other brand].
The first Taylor I picked up was a
710-CE and my heart was stolen! The quality of the tone and the neck
action was far superior. Needless to say, I bought the Taylor 710-CE on the spot! Several months later, I received
an unexpected bonus from my employer and immediately went back for another Taylor. This time I played the 912-C. Being a
fingerstyle guitarist, I custom ordered the 912-C with the wider neck, and also went with the Florentine cutaway.
When I received the 912-C I was awestruck by the absolute beauty and craftsmanship! Taylor not only
impressed me once, but twice! I now play my guitars every day, and have a renewed passion for advancing my skills as a guitarist.
I've been to the Taylor Guitars workshops featuring Doyle Dykes and Stephen King, and found true inspiration in their playing styles.
Doyle demonstrated a prototype of the
Doyle Dykes Signature Model. That may very well be the next Taylor I purchase!
Thank you Taylor for a lifetime of musical pleasure! Attached is a photo of my two Taylors. I thought your website viewers might
enjoy seeing the custom Florentine option on the 912-C.
