Tone
Describing tone is like trying to explain what vanilla ice cream tastes like. We describe it in relation to something else, or by using subjective terms. Yet, words fail to describe what the ear never fails to hear. While most players would agree with our descriptions, let your own ears be the judge.

Khaya anthotheca
The limited availability of Tropical American mahogany has led to the use of other comparable tonewoods in the mahogany family. African mahogany grows in the tropical forests of West Africa, usually in the Ivory Coast region, as well as Ghana and Nigeria. Similar in tonal response to Tropical American mahogany, it delivers a balance of brightness and warmth with an open, resonant midrange and strong projection.

Available on the 300 Series, Nylon Series, and select limited editions.
