Clint Black is an influential artist who opened the mainstream music market to traditional country music with his deft blend of country, rock, and contemporary singer-songwriter stylings. Based on our 912c, the CBSM acoustic-electric Grand Concert 6-string honors his originality with a design that combines a Venetian cutaway, back and sides of East Indian rosewood, and a top of Engelmann spruce, edged with Presentation Series-style abalone and Ivoroid binding. The fingerboard inlay of mother of pearl and agoya incorporate the words "these times" (from his song, "When I Said I Do") in Clint's own handwriting. Corresponding musical notes appear on a music staff that wraps around a large feather quill.
